Our fee is a percentage of the candidate’s first-year base salary, ranging from 13.5% to 18.5% depending on role complexity and seniority. It is contingency-based — you pay only when we successfully place a candidate. There are no upfront costs and no retainer required.
If a placed candidate leaves or is let go within 30 days of their start date, we will conduct one full replacement search at no additional charge. The guarantee applies to all placements at both the Standard and Leadership tiers.
No. We don’t require exclusivity. That said, clients who work with us on a focused basis typically see faster results — the more context we have about your role, culture, and timeline, the tighter the shortlist.
A kickoff call, a job description (or the information to build one), your target salary range, and a point of contact for scheduling. We handle the rest. Most clients are receiving a candidate shortlist within two weeks of kickoff.
Every candidate on a shortlist has cleared resume screening, a structured phone or video interview, and a reference or background check as appropriate. We don’t forward résumés we haven’t personally reviewed — your shortlist contains qualified finalists, not volume.
Yes. In fact, small and mid-size businesses are our primary focus. We understand that you need professional HR support without the overhead of a full internal department. Our model is designed specifically for organizations in that position.
Yes. While our primary market is Greater Columbus and Central Ohio, we conduct searches and provide HR consulting services for clients nationwide. Remote roles are no problem — we source across the country.
Most searches are completed within 3–6 weeks depending on the role, market conditions, and client responsiveness during the interview process. We keep you updated throughout so there are no surprises.
